In 2009, we embarked on a journey to revolutionise the digital landscape in Trinidad and Tobago. Along the way, we’ve unlocked new horizons, empowered countless citizens, and made significant contributions in support of the GoRTT’s Digital Transformation agenda.
Celebrating Our Digital Journey: 14 Years Of Innovation, Transformation, And Empowerment
2009 - 2010
Our inaugural year saw the launch of ttconnect self-service kiosks, expanding GovNeTT, our government’s electronic data network, and implementing the iHRIS platform for processing government payroll, making government services more accessible and efficient.
2010 - 2011
We introduced the ttconnect ID and opened the MTI Satellite Service Centre, while also making significant strides in supporting education, distributing the first batch of 17,300 school laptops.
2011 - 2012
We further strengthened our commitment to education by supporting the rollout of 17,400 laptops via the eCAL initiative, while contributing to the crafting of the National ICT Plan, smarTT
2012 - 2013
Notable this year was the launch of our toll-free number, making ttconnect more easily reachable, along with our contributions to notable national forums and symposiums.
2013 - 2014
We simplified the registration process for tertiary education with GATE eService ID, enhanced Pension Life Certificate Attestation services, and supported digital literacy for seniors with the ICT for Senior Program. Additionally, we led conversations about smart solutions at our ICT Business & Innovation Symposium and contributed to globally recognised reports by the World Economic Forum.

This year marked the launch of the transformative e-Tax Service, allowing citizens file taxes online. We also opened another ttconnect Service Centre, implemented a High Availability Solution for the ttconnect online portal, and continued the ICT for Seniors Program. We also supported the deployment of 2 new ICT Access Centres, and leveraged our expertise to aid key projects, including the Ministry of Finance’s Electronic Document Management System, as well as the deployment of a SharePoint solution for the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago. We participated in The Americas Competitiveness Forum (ACF) 2014, and supported TATT’s Commemoration of Girls in ICT Day.

From launching ttGovChat and piloting the ePayment platform, GovPayTT, we further broadened our impact. We also provided technical, project management and procurement services for key
government projects, such as the implementation of an electronic funds transfer framework (Ministry of Trade and Industry alongside the Treasury), the creation of an online Music Technology Platform (MusicTT), the execution of unified communication through Skype for Business
(Ministry of National Security), reform of Government procurement through the deployment of an eProcurement solution (TSTT), and a commitment to the development and expansion of the Court Pay platform (Judiciary).
2018 - 2019
We launched the innovative Hackathon event, HackTT, supported TATT’s National Free Wi-Fi (TTWiFi) Initiative, and worked on upgrading GovNeTT Phase II. HackTT was the genesis of EmployTT, which would go on to be launched in 2021.
2019 - 2020
Our resilience shone through during the COVID-19 pandemic, officially launching GovPayTT, and implementing virtual collaboration solutions, and online services for the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services. We also participated in the Prime Minister’s Roadmap to Recovery Committee to develop Roadmap 2 Recovery (R2R) Plan.
